Life is messy. Kids are crazy. I don’t expect them to sit and smile at the camera for an hour. In fact, tell them not to - that’s boring. My only request? Show up ready to love your people. Cuddle them. Laugh with them. I’m going to tell really bad jokes and ask them to be super silly. I’m probably going to ask your love story, your testimony, what your kids want to be when they grow up. I want to capture their quirks, their dimples, that cute little beauty mark on their face. Their chubby little hands on your cheeks. All the little things that make your family, you.

Includes one hour session, one location, one outfit, 20 images, print release and sharing permission. This applies to all family, couple, maternity, and lifestyle sessions. Outdoor sessions are scheduled exclusively at sunrise or one hour before sunset. Lifestyle sessions are generally scheduled mid-afternoon when it is brightest in your home. I do offer an option to add a short family film for $150.

**You will select your favorite 20 images after the session, and receive a link to download these images. Full album may be purchased for additional $100.

WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?

Why in the world are photos so expensive? I hear you! I used to ask the same thing. But, here's why, friends. They're not just photos. They're your once-in-a-lifetime memories. And they matter.

I am breaking it all down to help you understand the value of your investment. Because I value it, too.

Professional equipment. My primary camera body and lens cost $5,100. That doesn't include the cost of memory cards, extra batteries, and editing software. Then, multiply that by two because I bring a back-up camera and lenses to every session, juuuust in case there is ever a malfunction. My cameras and lenses are regularly cleaned and serviced through Canon to ensure they are reliable every time.

To keep your memories secure. My camera saves your images to two memory cards from the start, and then they are backed up through the entire process to ensure they are completely safe through delivery!

TIME. When you book, you are getting a minimum of eight hours of my time. What does that look like? Usually about 30 minutes travel time each way. One hour session. Average five hours of offloading, culling, editing, exporting per session. Uploading and sending gallery. And communication via text & emails throughout the process.

And then, of course, all the fun costs associated with being a small business owner. Taxes - enough said, am I right? Client management system for seamless communication. Data storage, website, gear maintenance, & gas. Babysitters & education. I seek out mentorships and courses to continue my professional development.
