Hey there! Kourtney, here.

And, I'm really, really thankful you are here. It's been a journey. You know how it goes. Girl has first baby. Girl gets "fancy" camera to take pictures of baby. Girl has little skill and a whole lot of passion. Girl has a bunch more babies and wants every moment captured, and also wants that for every mama. And from that, this little business was born in 2013 in a Naval Hospital weighing 5 pounds and completely stealing my heart, and I didn't even know it yet.

My prayer is God uses this business to bless people, whatever that may look like.

I can't quite put into words what it means when you book me. You have allowed me to leave my 9-5 of eight years to be present with my family. Every family hug, every story time, every piano lesson attended, I am thankful for you. Every time you trust me to capture a season of life for your family, I am honored. I know how valuable your moments are and I don't take that lightly.

I'm married to a US Marine. My high school sweetheart. We recently celebrated our tenth anniversary. Five deployments, four babies, three duty station later, I spend my days homeschooling. We’re a foster family. Editing pictures. Doing yard work. Somehow I don't drink coffee. I drive a transport van. Lots of kids don't stress me out but disorganization and being late drive me crazy. I love to travel to beautiful places but I love being home more. My life may be ordinary to most, but to me, it's the greatest calling I could ever ask for.

If I shoot your session on the beach, I'm probably going to lose my flip flops and you should probably bring towels. If we're not on the beach, 10/10 I will be wearing my rain boots and 9/10 I will trip on a branch while walking backwards and taking your picture. And, I will probably be hiding my messy hair under a hat and gushing over your babies. Because I really, really love babies. I fully expect your kiddos to run wild and I fully encourage this. Come ready to hug them. Play with them. Hang out. Just be you and let me work my magic.
